Dressing for a job means more than just wearing a shirt, pants and shoes.  Safety equipment is provided for you protection.  However, not everyone uses it as it is intended. 

If a drill bit is being sharpened on a bench grinder, it generally takes only a few minutes.  But, has anyone stopped to figure that in only a couple of SECONDS, an eye can be injured or perhaps put out by a piece of the wheel or bit?  IT DOES NOT HAPPEN OFTEN, BUT IT CAN HAPPEN. 

The company requires the use of welding hoods, cutting goggles, safety glasses, dust masks, face shields, steel toed boots, hard hats and other protective equipment for your protection.  USE THEM.  In cases of personal injury without using protection, there is no excuse.  Your eyes, your hands, and your feet are essential to your personal health and happiness.  Protect them. 

We will help by making personal safety equipment available.  It is up to you to use it.
